My name is Wince Taylor and I live in the city of Mount Pearl where I have been a resident my entire life. I have been married for 27 years to my high school sweetheart and we have two children. My oldest is 25 and he just completed a Digital Animation Program and currently doing some freelance work. My daughter who is 22 is in her final year of early childhood education. We have three shelties and 1 cat. The daily routine within our household is forever changing.

I have played sports for my entire life and have represented my province on a number of occasions throughout my career. I currently play golf on a regular basis and enjoy reading and watching movies. One interest I do have but find little time to pursue is photography. I hope to spend more time taking photographs in the future. Here are a couple of my recent photographs.

The Lower Battery in St. John's Harbour.

St. John's is known for its jelly bean houses. Here is just one example.

I am a graduate from Memorial University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Education degree with a minor in mathematics. I have spent many years teaching across the education plain from kindergarten to Level 3. Currently I am enrolled in the Graduate Diploma Program for Education Technology and have completed three courses.

My current teaching position is at an Elementary School in St. John's, Newfoundland. St. Andrew's is an inner-city school under the Eastern School District with a population of 205 students and 25 staff. It is a wonderful school which provides many rewarding and challenging experiences. With a high component of ESL (English Second Language) the day to day experience when I go to work is very enjoyable.
